The mouse has seven buttons, plus one dedicated CPI toggle switch. There are, of course, the left-click and right-click buttons; a pair of buttons on each side; and the scroll wheel button. Speaking of the scroll wheel, it features gradients all along its rotational travel, which gives using the wheel a very satisfying tactile feel.
The CPI toggle button is situated just behind the scroll wheel, far enough so that it takes a conscious effort to change CPI settings instead of, say, hitting it accidentally. The powerful SteelSeries Engine Software enables you to program your buttons, record macros, define your sensitivity, and create unlimited profiles for the ultimate in gaming prowess. Pros: - Mouse feels fantastic in my hand and the device just generally feels very high quality. Cons: - I had this for a couple of months and it just totally died on me.
It was receiving power, but was essentially dead. Thankfully it was still under warranty so I sent it back for a replacement, no headache. Overall Review: It's difficult to give this particular product 5 stars since it didn't take long before it just gave out, but SteelSeries customer service came through big time in dealing with my problem.
I was very impressed. They not only took care of the issue quickly and at no cost to me, but the replacement they sent me was an upgraded version of the product.
I was pretty blown away by this, so I feel they deserve a good review. The replacement they sent has been working flawlessly ever since I received it and that was close to a year ago.
Cons: Side buttons are a little too forward for me those who use claw grip will probably be quite happy with them though Right click works intermittently after some right-click-intensive gaming Scroll wheel input is occasionally reversed the page goes the wrong direction when I scroll. Overall Review: For context, I bought this mouse half a year ago and it has been under average-to-intense wear. It is probably usable for up to a year. I would not recommend this product, go for a more durable mouse.
Pros: Works amazingly when it works. Cons: Does not last very long. I've had 2 of these in on year and both died within months. Randomly it will skip but not often that you will care right away. After that starts all clicks will register weird and mouse will skip more and more over time. Pros: Very nice gaming mouse. I use it to play csgo and it feels really nice and smooth. I have tried few other mouse that is pretty well known for pretty series gamers. The steel series rival , razor deathadder, logitech g and few other mouse but this felt the most comfortable for me.
If you want to improve your gaming precision this is good mouse to use. Highly customizable. Very accurate and moves the way i want it to move. The reason why i liked this better than other mouse is cause this mouse is more of a claw grip then palm grip.
But not too small for even big handed people can move the mouse freely. Not having to deal with your botton of your palm on the mouse pad giving you more friction. Nice and light. So far works great. The mouse itself looks just great with the high black gloss finish and white led lights, this thing is a knockout.
I see that the price is still very high even when on sale, but if you can find this at around dollars it's still well worth it.
I've use many other mice, some work well and others did not, but this SteelSeries has really won me over. It's an outstanding performer. More than exceeds my expectations. My first Steelseries product and definitely won't be the last.
Very durable. With all the people that use and play games on my pc this thing takes a good beating. Pros: Awesome tracking scroll wheel feels amazing easily attainable drivers and very friendly user interface.
Overall Review: Amazing price on a very nice gaming mouse coming from a g9x I'm feeling dumb for not trying this earlier! Pros: Alright. This is mainly about the aesthetics of the mouse. Looks downright Beautiful.
Not kidding, love it. The LED's really tie me over. Feels alright, I Don't like long mice and this is one of the shortest ones i could find. Very nice though. Feels good that I can rest my palm in a mouse again. Very high DPI. Cons: I haven't found many.
The cord can kink easily, where its fabric not plastic. Other than that I guess the price may be a con? That it wasn't free? Add to cart. Price Alert. Add To Wish List. Best Sellers. Corn Electronics. Are you an E-Blast Insider? Get Educated.
